Both women and men always wanted to improve the appearance by a new makeup, hair color change, appealing to new trends in haircuts, with or without glasses, trying to look and feel better. When the way we look is not just about these changes we must appeal to the medicine. In order to change our  physionomy, the facial pattern that basically makes us unique, there are certain procedures related with cosmetics and aesthetic too. Whether it's about the correction of a facial asymmetry or undesirable traits (nose profile, eyelids volume, lips volume) , the correction of aging aspect of the skin, or correction of consecutive accidents repairs or malformations extirpation, facial aesthetics and plastic surgery are the two responsible for these treatments.
Now dental clinics are no longer limited to cosmetic dentistry that involves tooth shape changing and color, veneers, crowns and implants, but are using non-invasive techniques and facial aesthetic procedures perfomed in-house.

One of these substances is the hyaluronic acid which is found naturally in the human body.
Our skin naturally produces hyaluronic acid to maintain firmness but with the passing of time this function is slowed. Hyaluronic acid is obtained through a process of synthesis who is microbiologically pure.

Hyaluronic acid is divided into two classes, reticulated and nonreticulated, presenting itself as a gel. Reticulated hyaluronic acid is indicated in erasing the fine lines but also those deep ditches, called nasobuccal retouching, total or partial filling of the lips. The nonreticulated acid is used in maintenance and maintaining suppleness, tonicity and elasticity of the skin but also for damaged skin around the eyes, correcting dark circles, being suitable for all ages.
These substances introduced into the deeper layers of the skin are able to induce a dermis biorevitalization, stimulate collagen production and prevent skin ageing, improve facial appearance in the cheekbones, the jaw - chin.  Few allergic reactions are known so far, so there is no need of an allergy test in advance.
Talking about side effects, they are very rare and often only after the injection entered a blood vessel. Some ecchymosis can occur (bruising -  is showing up the hematoma), but that can be gently releived after local applications of ice packs, for 10-15 minutes tops. Some local pain can be felt, itching or edema (swelling) , all of which disappear after 24 hours up to 8 days. You should avoid exposure to dust and it is very important to aply moisturizing creams, every day, several times a day. Also the estehtics specialist will always recommend local massage of the area, constantly and firmly executed. Otherwise the acid will distribute unevenly.
You have to know that before the injection with hyaluronic acid you must avoid the consumption of dietary supplements, NSAIDs (aspirin), anticoagulants and for men is indicated to avoid intense physical activity and hormone treatments. Bodubuilders are usually given different types and quantities of hyaluronic acids compared to everyone else. Their body methabolism is so very different that in order to obtain the desired effect, one should adapt accordingly.

Botulinum toxin is an exotoxin, her role is to prevent the information transmitted by the nerves to the muscle, causing his relaxation. Botox (as we all know it) is considered a muscle relaxant drug. Used in small amounts it prevents the formation of expression wrinkles (avoiding emphasizing deep wrinkles) while hyaluronic acid is used in case of static wrinkles.
We use Botox implant to correct lines, glabellar wrinkles region (between the eyebrows) in the frontal region, the periorbital (called "crow's feet") or the perioral.
 The face muscles express emotions like joy, sadness, anger, dispair, panic, surprise. A recent study proved that the patients with facial paralysis showed depression symptoms. For them the treatment was interfered with Botox and after a while it was observed a significant reduction in depressive symptoms, an overall improvement in their state of mind. This treatment was shown to have greater satisfaction in the long run than conventional cosmetics.
Both hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin use the same non-invasive technique, direct injection under the skin, previously anesthetized with local special creams or gels, in order to to suppress any discomfort.

Our clinic uses also the PRP technique, as an complementary procedure to dental and facial aesthetic treatments. This product is made out of the patient's own blood, for which it is known in the media as the "vampire or Dracula’s technique." It is made by centrifugation resulting a platelet rich plasma that help tissues biostimulation, heal gums after simple or complicated tooth extractions or gum regeneration after insertion of a dental implant. In facial aesthetics PRP  give skin firmness and elasticity,  stimulating naturalness and surrounding tissue. This technique has the advantage that it can be used in people of all ages, as there is no adverse reaction, allergy, intolerance etc.

Like the above is a non-invasive technique, effective and safe choice. For long-term results the session is repeated at a certain time.
